The carpark of course, took consideration of event / performance nights and should accommodate up to 15-20 carparks at a minimum.

Where the loading bay should locate near the kitchen situated all the way to the far East side on the site to separate private and public sectors of the building.

I wanted the main stage to have high visibility from the Main Road, Jalan Tadika, hence the placement and the spiral staircase that connects to the mutipurpose room, which mainly functions as dance studio, drama room, pre-performance preparation room & control room.

PROJECT 5

For this project, we are tasked to design a Kindergarten within the walls of USM. My design consist of 3 part consideration: the children, the caretakers & staffs, and the public (parents or days of events). Focused highly on the site plan and the given site, I proposed 2 entrance and a separated drop off / pick up area along the East side to divert traffic congestion and ease children that studies on the East block. While younger kids need more supervision, their classrooms are situated near the office, which is close to the sick bay and staff's carpark as well, making the flow of circulation easy and convenient to access from one spot to another in a practical & sensible manner.

The building is also played with complexed floor levels complete with ramps for the children to explore and promotes independent behaviors at a young age. With repetitive features to indicate which area they are welcomed and which are not. This psychological affect is expressed through architectural elements  like arcs on suitable areas.
